DMCA & Takedown Policy

Bodycam Files respects the intellectual-property rights of others and responds to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Filing a takedown notice

To request removal of material, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed.
  • The URL(s) of the specific material you want removed.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Counter-notification

If you believe your material was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to the same address containing your contact information, identification of the removed material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake.

Repeat infringers

Bodycam Files will, in appropriate circumstances, remove content and terminate access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
